Follow these simple steps to setup your Tweetwhatyouspend account.

1. Login to Twitter or create an account
2. Follow TWYS on Twitter
'TWYS' is the shorthand for Tweetwhatyouspend
3. Post your first entry
Use the following syntax to post a Twitter update to your Cash Journal

you must send your first entry through Twitter before you will receive your registration invitation link
4. Check for a direct message in Twitter from TWYS
Once you've followed TWYS and sent an entry, you will receive a direct message in Twitter from TWYS. This is your registration invitation. Click the link in the message to complete your account setup. The link will look something like 'http://is.gd/dbe'
5. Click link, complete account setup
The is.gd link (is.gd is a URL shortner) will take you to Tweetwhatyouspend.com where you complete your registration by choosing a username and password.

Why is the registration invitation link from is.gd?

Is.gd is a URL shortner. Because the Tweetwhatyouspend URL is long, and contains parameters in the link to help identify you, we use the Is.gd service to shorten the URL.
